The first Catholic Church in Rustico with a very interesting connection to the Farmers Bank which is next door. The volunteer at the church knew a great deal of its history and was very interesting to visit with.

What a lovely old church. The sign in front of the church say this is the oldest Catholic Church on Prince Edward Island. How interesting.

Built in 1838 it is the oldest Roman Catholic Church on Prince Edward Island and celebrates Mass on Sunday morning. Peaceful locaton and building.

What a wonderful piece of history that is still used for services on a weekly basis. So well kept inside and the stained glass was also well preserved. A serene place to pause an reflect. Make a spot if so inclined.

Oldest church on the island; tranquil inside. Colorful but understated. Bring $3 and light a candle for your cares.

Oldest church on the island that still has regular services. It's definitely worth a look!! You can see how old the glass is in the windows and it's right beside the Old Farmer's Bank and Doucette House so you can stop by and see all...More

We decided to visit this landmark while we headed for a New Glasgow lobster supper. This is an interesting piece of the area's history, but frankly there is not a lot of visual appeal at this location.

My wife and I stayed right across the street from the church at the wonderful Barachois Bread and Breakfast. It's one of the oldest Catholic parishes on the island.

One mass on Sundays and still not that crowded. We went here because of the historic nature of the church.
