Overview
More
A scenic, ocean-side golf course, Green Gables measures 7,000 yards from the back tees and has everything you would expect of one of the Island's top-rated links. Classic rolling greens guarded by deep bunkers, six water holes, an ever changing breeze and the dunes of PEI's famous north shore serving as a backdrop. This beautiful course was designed and built in 1939 by one of the world's most renowned architects, the late Stanley Thompson. Now, nearly seventy years later, another legend among architects has renewed the spirit of Green Gables. Thomas McBroom, whose designs have achieved innumerable awards and accolades, has blended his own unique perspective with Thompson's original concept to ensure Green Gables meets the highest standards of golfing expectations. Havent golfed this course in a while. There were plenty of beautiful holes with amazing scenery. Pretty tough greens - never a straight putt. But unfortunately the fairways were in really bad shape. Hitting off the dirt many times and from the tee box you...More

The Stanley Thompson design is the best part, the style is exactly what should be expected when you play one of his courses. Unfortunately, there are more negatives than positives. We played Crowbush and Brudenell River, and by far they were superior. The main negatives...More

We really like playing this course which is not only a great design but a good walking course. Unfortunately the geese problem on hole 16 was the worst we have ever seen with the front of the green almost inaccessible with geese droppings and this...More

Another Thompson design. Loved it. Playable. Fair. In solid shape. Would come back again. Interesting back to back par 5's coming in. Good way to end the round. Found the service was excellent here.
