Overview
More
A scenic, ocean-side golf course, Green Gables measures 7,000 yards from the back tees and has everything you would expect of one of the Island's top-rated links. Classic rolling greens guarded by deep bunkers, six water holes, an ever changing breeze and the dunes of PEI's famous north shore serving as a backdrop. This beautiful course was designed and built in 1939 by one of the world's most renowned architects, the late Stanley Thompson. Now, nearly seventy years later, another legend among architects has renewed the spirit of Green Gables. Thomas McBroom, whose designs have achieved innumerable awards and accolades, has blended his own unique perspective with Thompson's original concept to ensure Green Gables meets the highest standards of golfing expectations. "Two Master Minds, One Master Piece."

Played the course on Canada Day, July 1, and it was not in good condition and with a temporary green on the 4th hole. I attributed some of the condition of the course to the fact that the grounds staff had the day off but...More

Very impressed with this golf course. Beautiful layout and very well maintained course. Enjoyed meeting the head pro and the other staff. Challenging from the tops but obtainable for all levels. Lots of recent work has been done to bring it to its current level....More

The course is wide open and forgiving. The track is nice with some challenging holes. Many nice scenic views throughout the course and always a ton of Canadian Geese on the last few holes. The conditions are beginning to appear aged in areas, as some...More

Played here for the first time this year on our golf tip east. Found it too expensive last trips but this year booked after 2 pm for $115.00 for 2 walking. Very nicely designed course which was in fairly good shape. Fairways were quite rough...More

Havent golfed this course in a while. There were plenty of beautiful holes with amazing scenery. Pretty tough greens - never a straight putt. But unfortunately the fairways were in really bad shape. Hitting off the dirt many times and from the tee box you...More

We played this course because it was close to our cottage. I wasn't sure what to expect because of some of the negative reviews. I don't know what others saw but most of the negative comments were unfounded. Regular price was a bit high at...More

The Stanley Thompson design is the best part, the style is exactly what should be expected when you play one of his courses. Unfortunately, there are more negatives than positives. We played Crowbush and Brudenell River, and by far they were superior. The main negatives...More
