Love the red sand, the dunes and the boardwalk. Great lookout spot at the beginning of the boardwalk and another one if you follow the boardwalk to a trail... 2km easy wal one way.

The beach at Cavendish is in the provincial park but we were there in mid September and there was no admittance fee. The beach is really amazing, just to walk in the extremely fine sand is quite the experience as you tend to sink down...More

Visited in late August. Made for a nice beach walk. There is an adjacent boardwalk/dunes area accessible from the beach’s parking lot. This boardwalk/dunes area is not as extensive as the Greenwich boardwalk/dunes - but would be easier to tackle with kids or mobility challenges....More

Great beach, beautiful views of red stone cliffs. Great walk. Washroom, change rooms, ample parking. Boardwalk for walking or cycling. Marked trails. Many interpretive stations with ecological information. Well worth the trip.

We stopped to take some pictures and my sister to put her feet in the ocean and walk in the sand. Beautiful beach not busy this time of year

Beautiful beach. Great for families - shallow and lots of sandbars. Lots of beach to explore and beautiful dunes to view .

Water was a bit cool, but the sun and sand made up for it. Sadly we couldn't swim due to the rip tide, but wading at the shore was refreshing.

Enjoyed the views, the sand and the water on a recent visit in August. Beach is flat enough for sports and wide enough to accommodate a number of groups. A must see!
