A must-see for anyone who loved the Anne of GG books as a child. The house is quite different from the one used in the famous tv adaptation(s), but it’s the one that inspired L.M. Montgomery when she wrote the books, with the interiors decorated...More

We went into a prince Edward Island because we wanted to see it’s beauty. When we got there we noticed that the island was all about Anne of Green Gable’s. so we checked out the house and the haunted trail and we ended up watching...More

Its magical, its like taking a step back to Anne's time. It's puffy sleeves, it's the forest. The trails are easy and very pretty to walk through. If in PEI it's worth going to visit.

Not being fans of Anne of Green Gables, we didn’t get the same experiences as her fans. We did enjoy the tour of the house and the pastries. The Fall scenery is worth the trip. As was the trip from Charlottetown.

Anyone who has been delighted by the Anne of Green Gables books must surely enjoy visiting the place that inspired the novels. The cottage garden is totally charming, and it is possible to walk off down Lovers' Lane or visit the wood. We learned quite...More

Childhood dream come true! Beautiful place to visit for the afternoon. Definitely give yourself at least an hour or two to walk around. I went to see the house on a bus tour and wanted more time. Lot's of grounds to explore. Excited to go...More

Although it gets crowded in tourist season they handle it well. Groups are usually met by an ancestor of the author given a short discussion on the author, the site and the heritage pieces. Guests are given ample time to visit all the rooms of...More

A good stop for a bit of history and a must see in PEI especially with the little ones (at least once).

Another "must see" place that was so talked about to check out.....so we did. The roof is no longer green, its black. I find it odd you have to pay to go into a site that fully under construction as well. Wasn't overly thrilled to...More

It is a self guided tour. Tickets are not free but were free to youth in 2017/18. I think an adult ticket is $8.00. Just show up when you want.

Not really walking distance (to me) but within a mile if that suits. Very close to the main drag
