A great ride along the Canal is worth the time. Very quiet and pleasant. Also the impressive Lift Bridges along the way, and to watch the Lake Frieghters pass by, with little to no noise, you dont even know they are there.

Grew up here, moved away, but always appreciate the beauty of how they have built up the canal area over the years. On a nice day worth your time to walk it and enjoy it.

Sit beside the southern terminus of the Welland Canal and watch the lakers and saltys go by and the engineering marvel of the lift bridge. On a warm summer day the cooling breeze off the Canal is really nice.
