I love riding my bike down the Friendship Trail. So much beautiful scenery to look at. I ride it all the time. I have gone all the way from Wainfleet to Fort Erie and from Port Colborne to Thorold (Allenberg)

A great 18 mile ride to Fort Erie with changing views ending with a beach stop looking at Lake Erie and Buffalo NY. Very pretty. A few too many road crossings interrupted the tempo and flow of the ride but the signage was great.

Trail is well maintained but somewhat isolated. We rode to Fort Erie and back. We took a detour to Crystal Beach. Very crowded and only porta potties for all those people.

Very well maintained trail. Lots of friendly users. I was looking for a way to go from east to west towards Port Colborne and stay off of the busy roads and noticed this trail on the map. It was a welcome sight.

A very quiet trail, lots of trees and some wildlife, we saw a fox !! well maintained trail as well. Every 10K there is a small town to stop and explore from Port Colbourne to Sherkston, to Ridgeway.

The Friendship Trail from Fort Erie to Ridgeway and Port Colborne is a great paved off-road rail trail. It is flat and easy for riders of all capability levels. The only downside is that there are lots of stops at road crossings and some overkill...More
