The Lock 8 Gateway Park has everything -- ship viewing, playground, and skate park. It is a perfect place to take the kids to play or just to hang out watching ships pass through the locks.

The park here at Lock 8 is kept up by very meticulous landscape workers who are always planting and taking care of lawns, etc. Nice place to go for a walk or stop and view the ships going past.
