We parked in the lot outside the park and walked in and along the waterfront trail. It was very beautiful and great scenery. Lots of open fields and Great Lake views.

This is no Wild water kingdom but perfect for anyone who wants to just cool off on a hot summer day. The price is reasonable even without a park's annual membership but I would highly recommend any family with kids to consider the parks membership....More

Walk, swim, take the kids to the playground, there are plenty of options. Lots of beautiful shaded spots to rest or picnic.

It is a nice waterfront trail with access to the beach and picnic shelter .. you can go walkngbonbyhe trail or spend the weekend with feiends and family on the picnic shelter

BBQ grills are allowed in the park. They however are not allowed in the pool area.
