We hiked the Spry Bay Trail, taking two hours to do the loop. Obviously a lot of work has gone into maintaining the trails. The scenery changes from rocky coastal views to open shrubs and spruce forests. Signs along the way keep you updated on...More

We hiked the longer trail in 2.25 hrs. We saw many Pitcher Plants and really enjoyed the switch between forest and coastal landscapes. I wouldn’t recommend bringing your dogs with you since there is a lot of time walking on beach rock. I wore runners...More

Great trails located here! Short or long they are all spectacular! Take the time to enjoy this beach and absorb its serenity. Its a simple pleasure to stroll along an uncrowded stretch of white sand. Even better sit a spell!

The long sandy beach is rarely busy, but for me the reason to drive the hour+ from Halifax is the 8km hike to the tip of Taylor Head. Singletrack mostly, nice wild feel. When you reach the headland just flop on the springy crowberry ground...More

This is a great spot to relax on a beautiful beach, if you're feeling a little more energetic there are great trails to hike before you decide to laze on the beach. My friend and I did just that! We came to hike and after...More
