When we are on the highway travelling towards NB or PEI we always make sure there is time to stop at the Masstown Market. You do not want to miss this place, their vegetables, seafood, breads, rolls, sweets, pies I can go on and on are just a step above anywhere else. They take such pride in what they make... More

We stopped passing through on the way to Moncton. The seafood chowder and sandwiches were freshly prepared by pleasant staff. The food was flavorful and the atmosphere casual and comfortable. It was a real treat and I would both recommend and would eat there again!

Great spot to do a little shopping. From alcohol to bread, Masstown Market has it all. My favourite is the seafood pie with lobster. I always pick a couple up to habe on hand at home. Good spot to walk your dog too.

I've never really been a fish & chips fan, so I didn't really miss it when I quit gluten 4 years ago. But my husband loves F&C so when we found out theirs was Gluten Free, we made the hour+ long drive to try. We were not disappointed! We fell in love, and so did the kids. We can't wait... More

Great spot to stop for a water and bit to eat on a road trip. Gas is across the street. Groceries, ice cream, bakery and a caferifia style restaurant. Worth the view.

Great place to stop for some good quality wholesome food.Nothing fancy or pretentious, great value and served quickly. We had the atlantic sea food pie(packed full of seafood) which is covered in the sea food chowder(again lots of seafood). The chowder is also available separately.Several types of salad on display, homemade pies/cakes and a coffee shop add to the choices. If that doesn't take... I always love to stop at the Masstown Market and pick up baked goods. Sometimes I find lovely items in the gift section. It is also a really nice place to stop for a quick lunch. However, last time through, the washrooms were filthy to the point where we didn't even dare use them. I hope that they will take... More

Some friends recommended this place so decided to take the one hour drive west of Halifax. Right on 104 a few kilometers west of Truro NS. We have driven past it many times. Now I wish we had stopped there. It is a delightful place to visit if you are looking for local produce or if you want a snack... More
