We made a trip to Mabou, to visit the shop, after picking up an advertising card at a Visitor Information Center. When we arrived, it was closed, and when I checked the website from home, It says they are in the process of closing, If this is so, the cards should be removed from circulation (I saw them everywhere that... Bellemeade Farm offers great quality at reasonable prices. Beautiful range of colours and products. I bought: sheepskin slippers, woven wool throw-blankets, socks, sheepskin insoles for boots, yarn for my sister's knitting, and more! Everything has been cosy, warm, and durable. Lasts really well. My sister had an enjoyable chat with the knowledgeable lady who runs the shop. I brought home... More

We came upon this beautiful farm by following the excellent signs...we were not dissipointed when we entered the wonderful shop. So many rich colors of dyed yarns to choose from , lovely crafted items, knitted, woven and felted...so much to choose from. A most delightful Shop with a very interesting history and owned by a knowledgeable and creative lady!

Bellemeade Farm Shop is the real deal. You can buy yarn and roving that used to be on the sheep on the farm! The fibre quality is over the top. She has so many great products and it is just magic to be in the shop. It is literally in the corner of a barn on a working dairy farm.... More

Loved the sheep farm and the proprietor. She was very nice and explained about the farm's history and how the business was started. All the wool products and goat's milk soap are made by her and her daughter. We had a problem not buying one of everything we saw! Great place to get unique gifts and practical items.

Wonderful selection of handmade on the farm wool products. Stopped in and picked up a sheepskin hat, a large throw, and sheepskin wool slippers. Continued down the road to Mabou. On the way back, stopped in at Bellemeade again to get another throw. Lovely lady behind the counter was very helpful. Don't pass this place by!

Stopped by on a side-trip to Mabou. Actual working farm with cattle and sheep. Great goods, all handmade. Die their own yarn, spin the yarn from their wool. Beautiful stuff. My wife bought a ton!

Stopped late Sunday and was still served as the first guest of the day! Kate was super friendly and went out of her way to stuff my bag/gift on the spot. Quaint farm and VERY well indicated with signs, this stop was worth the few kms to find it. Beautiful rovings and knitted items (blankets, socks, hats, mitts...) you can... More

I went to this farm on a trip to Nova Scotia and bought some beautiful hand-dyed yarn in a variety of colours. When I went home, I was able to knit a great blanket made up of different patterned squares (see picture). I decided I wanted to expand my blanket and was able to order more yarns through the shop's... More
