Absolutely beautiful beach! Drive to Louisbourg, follow signs to Kennington Cove. Travel on the dirt road for approx 10 mins, you'll see the ocean on your left, but if you go another minute down the road, it's a dead end with a parking lot. The...More

We stopped here to visit a beach during our trip. We put our feet in the water but there were signs up warning swimmers of the currents and the dangers of swimming so we did not go swimming. We saw people with inflatable rafts and...More

Nice clean beach. Hardly anyone at the beach. Nice warm stream flowing through the beach. Good history. Sand was nice and soft sand. Water was cold but it’s the Atlantic Ocean haha

Very nice beach, clean with large waves being pushed by high winds. We did not try to swim here as the air and water were cold that day.

We had to drive for a while before we ended at the Kennington Cove Beach. The whole way was filled with gravel. Once at our destination, we couldn't take our eyes off from the beach. It was amazing! The waves splashed up on the rocks....More

This spot is just out side the entrance to the fortress. So don't miss a chance to go here. Very quite and beautiful spot.
