Great sandy beach with ample parking and facilities to change. Lifeguards on duty. Weather was good and the water inviting and not cold as expected.

We were excited to trek the Cabot Trail during our Canadian Maritime vacay. This beach did not disappoint. Beautiful views, perfect waves to boogie board for our 7 year old and dogs were allowed out side of the supervised area. We are already planning next...More

There are several beaches to check out when your on the Cabot trail or in the Highlands, this one should be included. Was one of the busy beaches we stopped at.

The day we attended was cool but the sand is soft and created a wonderful walking surface. Life guards on site and change rooms. A drink hut and ample parking. It is great day for young children if staying the area. Believe it or not,...More

This is a lovely sandy beach which is manned by lifeguards in July and August. There was a breeze blowing when we were there so people were using surf boards. Lots of parking.

On a warm summer day, there were many happy people enjoying this lovely beach. The waves were quite nice, and the folks were enjoying them. There is a lifeguard on duty. Definitely worth a visit.

The beach and trails are well worth the time and walk. Gorgeous area with the Atlantic beating on the shore. Restful, relaxing way to spend the day. Would do it again.

There are several beaches in Ingonish, however the one near the Keltic lodge seemed to be the biggest, with a long shoreline. I may be wrong, so look for local input. As a first time visitor, I was impressed by the beauty and the peaceful...More

Within Cape Breton Highlands National Park, so the standard is high. Sandy beach but also a dramatic beach of smooth, round rocks. A ranger is on hand for a geology lesson. Pretty views, clean washrooms, good snack bar.
