We headed over to the Enragee Point Lighthouse to have look. Yes the road is gravel and is rough in places, and yes the car was dusty after the trip, but I am thankful that the road is made available to us tourists. Watch for...More

We had some time to kill, so decided to drive out to Cheticamp Island to see what was there. The light house itself is kind of run down and enclosed by a chain link fence, so not much to look at. We did enjoy the...More

The road is very bad but take it slowly and ok. You get a fantastic sunset from here weather permitting. The trip back to Cheticamp along the road is absolutely beautiful with the lights and St. Peters Church illuminated. This visit is a must if...More

We drove on a road with lots of potholes, but we kept on going, until the road became way worse. Then we walked. At one time, while we were walking towards the lighthouse, the road was filled with dirt. We started to sink in it....More

I wouldn't say this lighthouse is a "must see," but if you are looking for something to do and the weather isn't great this would be an okay drive to make. It is a dirt road so the drive can be rough. There will be...More

The best thing about going to the lighthouse ( it is fenced off ) is the drive across the pastoral island and the view across to the town of Cheticamp. This is not a must do, but is pleasant if you have the time.

We were a little early for dinner so we drove out to the light house. The road is rough. so take it slow. Watch out for cattle in the road also.
