As part of the Cabot Trail it is all very beautiful. You can see why the Scots and others settled here.

There are lots of hikes in the National Park, and this one was close, so we decided to give it a try. it is a 8.5 km loop, with one part through a valley alongside a bubbling brook. This part of the trail is a...More

This was a great & unexpectedly very beautiful hike. We did the round trip, which I highly recommend. It was one of our favorites for forest & stream beauty, payoff at the end, relatively easy.

We had some good views along the way, with plenty of benches for resting. Trail was well cared for, unlike some other in Cape Breton. Somewhat challenging in places, but OK for someone in decent physical condition.
