This lighthouse has no distinguishing features that would be of interest to tourists like a keeper's house to visit, the light mechanism to examine, or dramatic cliffs with splashing water below it to photograph. Perched on a low cliff, at the edge of the town...More

I grew up spending weekends in Woody Point before it was cool to do so and spent a lot of time around the lighthouse. I took my friend to see it last week and it's still lovely, with a great view. The grounds are well...More

I love lighthouses however all I can say is this one was recently given a garbage disposal can close by. However what it doesn't have, beyond the structure, are any normal amenities. For example, how about a path to get to it that is actually...More

A small lighthouse with nice views of the local area. A nice drive into Woody Point and well worth the time.

It looks a lot like other lighthouses, important to mariners no doubt, but not particularly distinctive to the uneducated eye. Some musicians/storytellers were using it as a performance background when we visited.

Good viewpoint for taking photographs. The stroll is easy. Would make a nice picknick spot. It adds to the historic beauty of the little town of Woody Point.

You can walk here off the side of the road in 1 minute. It was not open, but it's a great picture spot.

Nice restoration of a typical lighthouse from 100 years ago. No distance to walk. Good view of the bay.

It is beautifully positioned where you can see it from the 3 coves on the other side. Great view if you get up there, or if you view it from on the water. It has a nice backdrop of Gros Morne too, really good look.
