The site is phenomenal. We also appreciated the work of our guide, Carter. He gave us pertinent information along with some humour, a great combination. All worth it!

We took the ferry between these two towns, not the tour. However, I wanted to post a review to acknowledge the professionalism and kindness of Captain Michael McDonald. He took the time to chat with us and gave us a couple of easy crossings. We...More

We wanted to see the iconic Gros Morne National Park view that you see all over Google images; however we found out that you could only go with a tour company which was quite expensive and a 12 hour hike. We opted for the Western...More

The narrator was very witty. Coming from the area, he shared tons of history and local stories. Really engaging. The pilot kept the ship from bouncing too much. They offered really good binoculars to view the area which was absolutely gorgeous. The crew did a...More

Absolute must! Breathtaking views, awe inspiring. The crew were very knowledgeable, friendly and fun. We were treated to live music for the last 20 minutes and the crew got everyone involved. This was the hi lite of our trip. The 45 walk in was a...More

We had originally planned on the Western Brook Pond tour for our last day in this area but ended up going with this tour instead. For me it was okay but after hearing more about Western Brook, I think I may have been happier with...More

This tour starts with a 3 km walk down to the boat dock. It took us about 30 min but we seemed to be faster than most people. The walk is fairly flat with some very small elevations. The scenery along the walk is nothing...More

Thanks for the review! You are correct as the trail is not complete and Parks Canada is trying to make the trail more accessible. Cheers, BonTours

We went on two tours with BonTours; Bonne Bay and Western Brook Pond. These two areas are quite different so if you only have time for one, pick Western Brook Pond. This inland fjord (although they're not technically allowed to call it that) is breathtaking...More

The Western Brook Pond tour is great. The scenery is fantastic. Beware of the hike from the parking lot to the dock. It's about 2 miles, mostly flat, but on a wide dusty road. Not much fun.

Reservation process is unusual: company does not ask for a credit card. They seem to fill a few boats and add more departures if they fill up. It is a not very interesting half hour to forty-five minutes walk from the parking to the boat...More

Hi Nancy, Yes you are able to push a wheelchair. The trail is fairly flat, partly boardwalk & partly crushed stone. If you need to rent a wheelchair, you can rent one from the visitor center in Rocky Harbour.
