Herring Cove and Crescent Beach are great places to visit in the summer, but their real beauty shines through on a crisp winter day. Chances are excellent you'll have the entire beach to yourself. Bundle up, bring a thermos of hot cocoa, and make some time to enjoy a perfect little slice of nature. The beach starts at the parking... More

The washrooms are huge and extremely clean as well. On the grounds there are playgrounds, beaches, hiking trails, etc. The trail system is good for both beginner and experienced hikers and... More

Pleasant and clean with large, well-wooded or sunny sites. Everything was great. Laundry room, showers, etc. Nice little walks in the woods, nice trail to the beach (very nice, peaceful).

Staff are friendly and helpful. The hiking trails are very nice - mature coastal forest, coastal breakwater and beaches. Some could use more directional signage but it's not likely you'll get lost. Thwy also have programs for... More

My wife and I tented at Herring Cove, early in September. The tent site was spacious (for tent sites), had a fire pit, a picnic table, and plenty of room for a tent and a van. There was sufficient space between the tent sites that we didn't feel crowded and the bath houses were plentiful and clean. We were in... More

We have never never never found a better campground. Not for space. Well maintained and so friendly. Ask for a tent cabin looking on the water. We have come for 10 years.

My wife, our 2 children and I could not have been more pleasantly surprised by this beautiful provincial park practically in our back yard. We enjoyed watching the trawlers work their fish nets. There is a beach with a nice access and an overlook.
