Spring and summer are the best times to go. You need 4x4. Some very stip parts. Bring water and food. There is nothing out there.

Amazing views, fun on the snow sliding down the hills in garbage bags! Cabin up there is great for short stays, trails are hard to make out in the snow, please ensure you take the right gear with you, you can easily get lost!

Getting to the trailhead is the challenge, but once to the parking lot the trail is well marked and well used. A nice uphill with beautiful views of Mt Steel and the inlet. We recommend hiking to the winter cabins, there are 3 total.
