Went on a tour of the crater top, 21 of us from work had the most wonderful experience. Big Thank You to Steve the tour guide, who provided information throughout the tour and a taste of the North.

The lava beds are a bit off the beaten path, but overwhelmingly amazing. We had a wonderful tour with Steve, who is a genuinely soft spoken knowledgable local. The local area is full of fun surprises, suspension bridges, hot springs, and even though it was...More

Despite having lived my whole life in BC I had no idea about the lava fields and the history behind them. While we didn't have the chance to stop by the museum or visitor's centre, the auto tour was really beautiful and interesting. Photos really...More

Very interesting site with an interesting Nisga story. The guided trip to the cone was enriched by stories and information by the Nisga guide.

The lava beds were much more extensive than we expected and very interesting. We really enjoyed hiking to the cone with Steve the park operator, getting nature information and seeing tall trees, streams and lakes extra to the lava.
