This is a wonderful place to stay away from city's bustling and hustling. Simply sitting on the rocks and watching the sea and waves. It is so peaceful and undisturbed.

We spent at least an hour here wandering about on the rocks. We saw a sea lion, a snake and a starfish. Great photo ops out there of the mossy rocks and the boats passing the light house in the distance.

Rocky shoreline that was interesting to explore. Bring your telephoto camera to get a close up of the iconic lighthouse.

Overtime we visit Gabriola we also go out to Orlebar to watch the sunset and the kids have a blast exploring the rocky shores - there is so much to find! This summer we were surprised by a visit from a family of orcas.

At the end of Berry Point road there is this view of the lighthouse. Stop along the road, go for a walk on the sandstones and enjoy the view of the lighthouse on a backdrop of Georgia Strait.
