This photo is not Sandwell Beach. It is of the Ferry terminal. Sandwell is well worth the 15-20 minute walk that is of no consequence to the fit, but a challenge to someone who has issues, especially with the knees. Short steep up and downs...More

This park is beautiful and was so calm and quiet even on a beautiful July day. We are so glad we made the trip and highly recommend stopping at this beautiful beach!

At low tide this is a lovely walk from end to end. At any time, a beautiful beach and quiet contemplative place to clear your head

Very nice spot with a great view of the light house across the water. Beach has lots to look at and the path is well maintained.

Drive to the end of The Strand, park and then follow the trail through the woods and down a hill, careful it's a bit steep, then you're on this gorgeous beach. And this beach has it all: view out to the lighthouse, soft white sand,...More

Lots to see and do and be awed by the sheer scope and beauty of nature. Shellfish, crabs, and starfish all over the tidepools and lots of beach to walk. Bring hiking shoes or boots!
