This is one of the better visitor centers in BC; very informative staff and nice souvenirs as well as a museum. We didn't' explore the museum much but I want to go back to Dawson Creek sometime in the figure and do just that.

This should be your first stop with staff waiting to help and answer your questions. There is a nice small gift shop with lots of free brochures for visiting other parts of the Alaskan Highway.
