There are a few things there that the kids enjoy, but really do wish they had more for them to do to keep them interested in going back.

This one of our favorite places to visit, there is lots of walking and biking trails. The only downfall is the concession has been closed for a few years, not sure why no catering company has jumped on the opportunity.

Typical of a Provincial park. Sites and amenities are well maintained and generally it's a quiet place.

I was given a tour by an indigenous elder and learned so much about the area. It also has a great little shopping area with wonderful unique shops. A great part of Canadian history. But best seen with idigenous people to learn the true history...More

This campground is very well kept. The sites are well covered in trees. The sites are also well maintained. They have flush washroom facilities. Also large day use area to enjoy playing games. Lots of trails to walk along. Only noticed one shower facility.

Great lake view sites in E loop with access to lake...some close to neighbours. Space for larger rigs in other loops. Go in early summer as blue-green algae takes over after stints of warm weather in July and August. Nice treed walking trails with easy...More

We spent 3 nights at the Zeiner campground on Pigeon Lake. We reserved a waterfront site which was literally steps from the beach. Each of the sites along the water seem to have their own little pathway to the water through a small little area...More

I'm not sure where Ziener is, but if it's connected to pigeon lake or a part of then yes it does. A lot of the lakes in the Edmonton area have blue green algae unfortunately.

Zeiner campground is a secondary campground location to Pigeon lake provincial park. We like this park over the larger park, as it's right beside a more sandy beach, and the serviced campsites are more open and many are... More
