My family wanted to get out of the house since we've been stuck inside from all the snow this winter. We get a nice 50 degree day and head out to killdeer only with no proper directions or signs we never found the actual site...More

There just isn't much of anything there. The best part was the warning from the property owner that he didn't want no "foolin'" on his property.

This is a lonely spot near a ranch. Small fenced off area will a stone memorial. Two small grave makers but now explanation offered. The graves are of two sentries that were killed in the battle. More interesting is the Medicine Hole Cave nearby where...More
