Located just off I-29 interstate, The Fargo Air Museum is an easily accessed pet friendly, must-stop location. North Dakota's premiere aviation destination, the Fargo Air Museum's dual hangars are home to aircraft of all eras - from a modern unmanned reconnaissance drone to the "most accurate recreation of a Wright Brothers' flyer the Smithsonian Institute has ever seen." A "flying" museum, many of the airplanes occasionally take to the sky, a unique feature not found in the vast majority of the nation's static-display air museums. More than just a simple place to display its many aircraft, military memorabilia and exhibits, the Fargo Air Museum also houses one of the midwest's largest Aviation libraries. In addition, the museum hosts educational day-camps, speakers and seminars for flight fans of all ages to enjoy. The Fargo Air Museum is a fantastic choice for a unique venue for corporate & private events and has quickly become a local favorite for hosting wedding ceremonies and receptions. Please email for event rental information. Located across the street from the Fargodome, the museum is also surrounded with dining opportunities and is conveniently just moments away from the Fargo's Hector International Airport.

Nice small museum, currently lots of info on the Vietnam war. Quite a few planes + helicopters to see, also takeaway-type coffee + vending machine, a small gift shop. They have a kids play area with a plane the kids can climb in, colouring, books, play mat etc. If you're into aeroplanes, you should enjoy this. We visited with 3... More

I haven't been here in awhile. I will be going there on Tuesday with family to see the Vietnam exhibits. I had family members that were Vietnam veterans. Last time I was there for this, I thanked the employees for placing Vietnam exhibits in the museum. It means a lot to me and the veterans who served in Vietnam. Thank... More

I enjoyed looking at all the planes and were able to climb in a DC3. Helicopters to see. All in all I thought it was a cool little place to check out planes, jets, and helicopters

This was a nice small museum. My young children enjoyed some of the hands on aspects, and my older ones enjoyed reading about and seeing some of the planes. It is a bit pricey in that it doesn't take long to walk through, but it was a nice random thing to do as an outing.

Enjoyed browsing parts of history as we ended our trip to Fargo. The historical significance and presentation was great. Did not take long to walk thru.

many planes to view along with info on what they did and can do. Well lit very good displays. We also got to see inside of some planes. They carry a extensive aviation library. Informative staff and well thought out.

Though not large, this museum has a good collection of air worthy and static aircraft that are all in fantastic condition.

I always enjoy seeing aircraft museums as I travel. This one in Fargo is small but has some interesting aircraft type. The reconnaissance drone was particularly interesting. I had actually never seen a drone in person, and it was nice to finally see one. This museum can easily be seen in about 30 minutes, so not a huge chunk of... More
