Went with my wife, daughter and grandchildren. Had a wonderful time. Large enough zoo to experience a large number of different animals. Nice little area to get a snack and cool down if it is warm out. Take the kids and have a wonderful day

This little zoo is a great way to spend a couple hours with your kids or with friends. It has a little petting zoo and some big animals as well. This zoo is not big though, so be aware that it will not take a whole day to walk around by any means. It does offer some food but to... More

Have been several times with our 3+5yr old kids. There is a variety of cold weather species, some local and some exotic. They also had a few South American animals, exotic lizards etc. They had some animals we hadn't seen at the MN or Como zoo. There is also a farm with some animals you can feed and pet. They... More

This zoo is rather small but it does have a nice barn section. I rate it as average based on experience today. I've been there before during summer months and it was better. Perhaps it's due to the season, there weren't a lot of animals out and about...the river otter had no water to swim in, he was just lying... More

I love seeing zoos in different cities, and hold a membership to my local zoo. With that, I paid half price at the Red River Zoo, and would have been a bit irritated to pay full price to be honest. I knew the zoo was small going in, but on top of there being a small selection of animals, even... More

The zoo always looks very nice and clean. The employees are friendly. I observe the animals. They look healthy and well taken care of. I'm glad we have wolves in our zoo. I'm glad we can see the wolves up close. They also serve good food and do fun things for the kids. I know the zoo director. I will... More

This is a great zoo to see if you have a couple of spare hours- unlike larger zoos, it is convenient to visit if you have 1 to 2 hours to spare. Small and cozy, it is a lovely place to visit and seem some local and exotic animals.

We went with my 3 year old Godson this last summer - he had a BLAST. My 12 year old guest however was not impressed. With what basically amounts to farm animals plus a Red Panda it can be a little less that amazing, but my Godson absolutely adored the goats and horses, all the animals he could pet. It... More

I've visited the zoo about once a year for the last 5 years. I recently went with my kids and was pleasantly surprised by the new addition of the family/volunteer building back by the farm animals. It was colder than our usual summer visit, and my son loved getting to warm up indoors and play a board game. Feeding the... More

I've been here a couple times and I just think it's pretty average. No one real big attraction. Grounds were clean.
