We stopped to visit this newly opened butterfly farm during our tour round Penang Island. Although it is located some way out of the city, there are paid public buses as well as a hop-on-hop-off sighteeing bus service that take you there. We were very impressed with this attraction. It is well designed and we did not realise it had... More

This place is amazing because it is near to nature. In love with all the colourful butterflies around my surrounding. There are many other attractions as well which is interactive and can be played together with family or your partner. A bit pricy for the entrance fee but it is worth it.

Penang was hit by torrential rains 1-3 weeks before our trip. We were told that the rains caused landslides in the area, which blocked the way to Entopia. Luckily this was repaired just a few days before our trip. Entopia was a charming place to visit. As long as you stay still, butterflies will land on you voluntarily. What an... More

There were lots of insects and various other animals for visitors to see. There was quite a bit of information on displayed. Overall an interesting visit and I think the kids learnt quite a bit.

This place is enchanting. Enter the enclosed garden and see a myriad of butterflies fluttering around you. we were there in time for an activity that allows you to take a bottle that contains a butterfly and release it in the garden. My Sister was wondering aloud, why catch them and release them again? Once all the visitors released their... More

Went here with my wife and had a great time. Firstly if you have kids it's a fantastic place!!!! As two adults we had a great time, however for kids it would be even better. £10 per person and you need about 1-2 hours to see everything,. Bugs/Butterfly's/Lizards/ enjoy!!!!

Last visited the Penang Butterfly Farm about 10 years ago, now it has morphed into a far more rounded experience. The mix of scientific, educational and fun elements works well for all ages and you could spend several hours just looking at the bugs and butterflies in the large landscaped dome before visiting the exhibition area. Did not see a... More
