Boy were we surprised about a tasting room in a harbour... pleasantly surprised. Epic view with the outside seating area in the ocean... the wines were not bad either. Probably the highlight of our trip. Almost forgot the Calamari perfectly cooked

A wine tasting at the edge of the ocean next to and old factory is certainly a unique experience. They offer an extensive range of excellent wines and you can stay for lunch on the quay.

This is the closet vineyard to the sea - with the cellar in the harbour, waves crashing while you are tasting the wines. The bay to bay sav blanc is fab, the hostess very friendly and knowledgable about wines and area.

Best kept secret - restaurant and wine cellar on jetty in Doringbaai where you can enjoy 5 star Platter wines. You can also book the little building exclusively for a small party - the setting is authentic and we will return.
