A terrific way to spend the afternoon!

We've been to Gateway to Science 3 times over the past few years and we enjoy it every time. The people there know what they are talking about and make the visit interesting.

There are neat things to do here nice science projects, Grandson liked very much, he is 5 years old. Think Adults entry price is a little high at $6.50.

We spent about an hour and a half in the GTS with my son and 5 year-old grandson. They have many new exhibits in preparation of their expansion in the next couple of years. The exhibits are fun to play with but demonstrate basic scientific principles. One shows how changing the topography changes lakes and rivers by you moving the... More

I was a little concerned that the activities would be too advanced for my 4 year old son but I was totally wrong. He had a blast. He was building with carbon molecules and playing with water and using flip flops to play a pipe organ. My older girls (ages 8 and 10) found plenty of great activities to keep... More

Gateway to Science is by no means flashy or new, but my boys had a great time. It is not a big place and there are no huge exhibits, but there were a lot of exhibits and quite a few that engaged my kids. And I enjoyed the exhibits that forced one to come up with a solution - the... More

When my father came out for a visit I wanted to go somewhere we hadn't taken him before, so I thought we would try this. My kids loved it! I have 4 kids ages 1-6. They didn't understand the exhibits but they loved playing with everything. I think we could have spent a day alone playing with the robot arm... More

Great for kids. They made slime and was able to enjoy the displays. Or son had a wonderful time as well as all of his friends. Beats the heck out of taking them to some fast food joint.

Take your kids here. They will love it and it just might give them an idea for their future studies. Very educational and lots of fun

We were there for about an hour. I think the kids enjoy seeing some of the exhibits. But, it's so limited that seeing it once is good enough for me. I wasn't impressed with the amount of displays and hands on displays. It's an okay way to spend some time.
