This is an excellent place to go on a field trip. There is a 10-minute film you can check out before boarding that gives a brief account of the history of this ship. There is a lot to see, so be prepared to spend at least a couple of hours or more. Once you're done touring there is a commissary for snacks (mostly vending machines) and a gift shop if you want to pick up some souvenirs.
