Thalian Hall is the oldest continued used theater in The United States and it is stunning. If you love theatre don't miss seeing a show or movie, as they have a film calendar in this historical place. All the greatest figures in history performed on...More

We saw Camelot at Thalian Hall and loved everything about it. The venue itself is remarkably restored, and one imagines great shows being performed there in the 19th century. The show was well acted, directed, and choreographed, and enjoyable from beginning almost to the end.

This is a small theater but it is packed with charm. The lobby has a little bar with adult beverages and some snacks but it's inside the theater that really rocks. We have watched 3 plays/musicals there and the first time we sat in about...More

My favorite talent are all members of the Opera House Theatre Company. This year we have seen "Jesus Christ Superstar" and "Camelot". We are going in August to see South Pacific. A great small theatre. Come and have a great theatre experience.

I have been to many plays, concerts, films and events at Thalian Hall. It is an historical and architectural gem, well worth even just stopping by to explore it. One of the oldest, if not the oldest, continually running theaters in the South. It's a...More

Although we have seen several live theatre events at the magnificent Thalian Hall main theatre, we had never been there to see any movies which are normally shown in their smaller theatre. On this occasion, we saw "Phoenix" which is a German movie and part...More

Yes, but it's the THALIAN ASSOCIATION that offers Children's classes at the USO conference center on 2nd Street not Thalian Hall--that's run independently as theater operations. Google Thalian Association and you should... More
