Our 22 month old grandson loved this museum, especially the kids section with train toys to be played with. He loves Thomas the Tank so this was great for him

My first model train was when I was 3...guess it was really more of my dad's. This museum covers historical aspects of railroading in the area and has a great model railroad exhibit.

Make sure you push the buttons and enjoy the movie and increase your historical knowledge base. This is a very informative, albeit small, museum that allows you to playfully experience the SIGHTS and SOUNDS of what was once our reality. Definitely worth a visit!

... for model railroaders this might be worth the see but not enough real trains on display. Do it if you have nothing else on your list.

Went for the Christmas show. It was nicely decorated . It was fun for all ages and the trains are set in different cities in NC

I'm sure if you contact the museum they could give you the info you need. However, the museum is not that large and 150 students at one time may be very chaotic.
