Had just taken fall foliage trip and visited Tom Dooley's Grave and thought it was the right time to try Dooley's Grill and Tavern. Parking is available in the street, in a side lot and in the rear. The parking in the side and the...More

My husband and I came here for the first time today for lunch. I had ordered the grilled philly steak cheese sandwich and French fries. Oh my, I ordered the small and my plate was huge. Homemade French fries were amazing. My sandwich was thick...More

The food is great and the portions are huge. Staff is very friendly and accommodating too. We have been 3 or 4 times and I could eat there every week. Prices are not too bad either. It can be a little crowded but it is...More

The burgers are huge and very flavorful. The sweet potato fries are good but the chips weren’t very crisp. We did have to send one burger back to be redone because it was really undercooked, ordered medium well and it came out very rare. The...More

A very charming place in the center of Wilkesboro. Food and beer is good and somis the service. And I love the historical photos on the walls. Often live music.

Service was superb. Very friendly and sweet waitress. Didn't have my first selection for appetizer so they comped my second choice. Salad could use some croutons. Food was average.

If you have not been here lately try it again. Food was very good and the portions were huge. A little pricey but you get so much. They seem to be transitioning to a restaurant with bar atmosphere at night. Glad I went back
