So there is an outdoor adventure waiting for all here! The main roads are very nice paved roads but there are quite a few of the ventures that you need to drive on grave roads. Overall though they were in very good shape. The only...More
Spent a fun weekend camping at the Arrowhead Campground located in the Uwharrie National Forest. Decent bathroom facilities. Nice flat walking trail to the Day Use Recreational Area. The camp was very clean and well attended. All the campers around us followed the quiet times...More

There are lots of things to do here.
I did a 13 mile day hike loop in the fall and my wife and I recently went offroading this past weekend.
Good trails for beginner to advanced and price is fair. $5 per day.
One of the few forests that you could go off road with a full sized vehicle.
Lots of fun and challeging trails for you to try.
This forest also had great hiking trails.
We will be coming back again real soon.

There are many different...More

I went out...More
