From what I’ve read it’s almost impossible to access the lighthouse. It is visible from the ferry. We actually seen it from our boat passing Deep port Marina. So nice to see parts of history

This historic range light can't be accessed. It can only be viewed at a distance from the Southport-Fort Fisher Ferry. Bring your binoculars. Better yet, check it out online.

We were on the Southport to Ft. Fisher ferry and discovered this gem, just as you are approaching the Southport ferry landing. Aside from the fact that this is there, the ferry ride to Ft. Fisher is a wonderful outing!
