Great to have a local theater that has independent movie showings, along with some live ballet and cinema showings. What a gem, with fresh popcorn and real butter, wine and beer....WOW. We love to sit in the balcony.

What an icon of southern pines. The theater exudes history and that wonderful small town feel. The prices are so fair, the popcorn freshly made and not costing a mortgage payment. A plus...they serve wine and beer. Our favorite move place. We would rather support...More

We were lucky enough to be in town when the local Blues crawl was going on. The Sunshine Theater hosted a wonderful presentation by a band from Orlando and we had a great time.
