Worth the drive and a short stop and walk around if you’re in the Seagrove area visiting potteries. One of the two remaining covered bridges in NC, according to wiki. “The bridge was built in 1911 by J. J. Welch at a cost of $40.”

Quick visit with a short nature trail (1/4 mile). Great rock hopping for kids if the water is low. Pleasant respite during a hot day.

A lovely setting seeing the Pisgah Covered Bridge in the woods. About a half mile of walking around the bridge on a gravel path. Very peaceful. Bring your camera.

We are always interested in seeing covered bridges, so we took advantage of the opportunity to see both of the remaining covered bridges in North Carolina. It is worth stopping if you are in the area.

The Covered Bridge is fairly easy to find with the typical 'brown' signs periodically along the route. The bridge has unfortunately been 'hit with grafitti artists' however it is still a great place to visit. The parking area and picnic areas are well taken care...More

Enroute to Sea Grove NC stop at this bridge! It is one of the 2 covered bridges left standing in NC. I think it was built around 1919/ You can walk thru it, not drive. You can easily see it from the road but it...More
