Phillip Morgan is a master of the crystalline glaze. His work is collected by many museums and he was Featured on Good Morning America. There are other potters attempting this difficult work, but none come Close. Do not miss his shop. Highly recommend.

This is one of my wife and my favorite stops when in Seagrove, NC looking at pottery shops. Phil's expertise in crystalline glazed finishes are amazing. His prices are quite high, but the quality is stunning. This is always a "can;t miss" stop for us. Enjoy.

Lots of good crystaline glazed pots and some not so interesting wood fired pots. This is just one of maybe 7 or 8 potteries that make crystaline pottery in Seagrove. It is a pretty common glaze and other potteries do it just as well or better for much less cost. I recommend shopping around before making a puchase. The North... More

Phil Morgan and his family do some very interesting pieces - not the usual brown jugs. Their prices are a little higher than some others, but the uniqueness of the pieces justify the price.
