Angel Falls: In our humble opinions, this is a relatively strenuous hike. It is more than the advertised 1.5 miles each way and the hike is full of steep inclines, roots, and steps to the viewing platform. With photo stops and breaks, it took us...More

Stopped to see the falls. Checked at the visitor center and found out the falls was a 1.7 mile hiker. Not being hikers we decided not to go. The center is very nice with several Hans on activities and other informative displays.

Rainbow Falls was worth the hike and is one of the prettiest falls I have seen in N.C. Wonderful seasonal worker who showed us the timber rattler. So passionate about his work! Wonderful state park!
