The store was wonderful but the best part of the experience was meeting Leon the proprietor. His daughter had won the Coon Dog national championship in our home town - Richmond Indiana! He had so many great stories to tell. just a happy man running...More

Stop in and browse this blast from the past! Very little has changed in this place except for the current stock of incredibly good homemade products.

General store; lots of vintage photos, clothing, and hardware on display, mixed with contemporary hardware & souvenir items. Staff are long term locals with a great knowledge of local lore.

Too much to see!! The place is covered with displays from long ago. So interesting! Lots of great stories from the owner.

visit ma paces for an authhtic small town general store since 1899 lots of souviners at great prices for you nc visit to the mountains plus hardware groceries etc at compatible prices filled with historical memorabilia of Saluda visit today
