Beautiful view with a picnic area back down the hill a bit.

After a number of visits to York, we finally took the opportunity to visit the lookout. It's quite a steep drive to the top but worth it as the views over York and the surrounding countryside are excellent. There are a couple of information plaques that are worth reading. Worth a visit.

Easy tarmac road to the top. Well worth doing and so close to town. Obviously great views across York and surroundings.

Several songlines converge here, it makes for powerful energy if you sit here for a while (especially near the tree next to the lookout). Check out the story of Wongborel (there's a sign just below the lookout).

This is an easily accessible lookout with an expansive view over York and the surrounding area. It is well worth the few minutes drive up the sealed road.

We took a day drive to York, this is one of our most favourite little towns and visit quite often. This drive was to see the spring flowers. Which of course put on an amazing show every year.

Great trails traversing Mount Brown, some overgrown with wildflowers! Had a really fun couple of hours. You can find trail map on Trailforks app. Thanks to those who cut and maintain the trails. Lovely spot

An easy to get to look out that you can walk or drive to the top of. From the top the views of the surroundings are spectacular and uninterrupted.
