Lolly Heaven :-)

Find your old childhood lollies in here, good prices and yummy lollies. It's a small shop but packed with variety and the two ladies serving were awesome.

One of the best lolly shops I've been into. Plenty of old school delights that I haven't seen since I was a kid. Even the cash register is old! There is something for everyone and the way the proprietor has put up old signs from way back on the wall makes it look all the more antique. I especially liked... More

This shop is wonderful - sweets, lollies and ice-cream! The owners, Garry and Linda, are both very friendly. They live in York so they are also a great source of information about other local attractions.

We had driven up from Perth with out to much of a plan. Then we walk the strip and walked to this shop. This shop is half lollies shop half antique shop. If you like your old fashion sweets from yester year then this is the place need to visit here while you are in York. They have a great... More

Friendly little shop and a step back into history too. Worth a visit, have a chat to the locals and buy a treat all at the same time. Filled from top to bottom of sweets and memorabilia, and I think it's important to support the locals and this important town of our history. Do your part and keep this quaint... More

The lolly shop has a huge variety of sweets at reasonable prices. It was great to see English etc lollies as they are hard to come by. Unfortunately a high pitched noise made it a little hard for the man in the group stay in the store, but it didn't deter me!!! :)

Hi Milly Thankyou for your review. The high pitched noise is actually an ultrasonic pest deterrent. It is unusual that adults can hear it but we have found that some 10-13 year olds can hear it, mostly boys interestingly enough. Thanks to your review we will now turn the unit off during trading times so others will not feel uncomfortable... More

It's easy to spend more time than you planned in this lolly shop, not just browsing the enormous range of sweet things, but looking at the interesting artefacts from the past. I had a chat with the proprietor who gave advice about what to do and where to eat in York. The bonus of course was that I was able... More

This retro style shop's been trading for sooo many years, while others have come and gone on Avon Terrace. An absolute riot of all things sugary (the dentist would so not approve) plus local produce (organic olives, olive oil etc). We stop in every time we visit York, and try something different - recommend the freeze-dried strawberry covered in white... More

It's a fun to visit the shop while we attended the York festival 2016! The shop is interesting to hop in and look for some antique and unique toys as well as display!
