Tripadvisor’s approach to reviews
Before posting, each Tripadvisor review goes through an automated tracking system, which collects information, answering the following questions: how, what, where and when. If the system detects something that potentially contradicts our community guidelines, the review is not published.
When the system detects a problem, a review may be automatically rejected, sent to the reviewer for validation, or manually reviewed by our team of content specialists, who work 24/7 to maintain the quality of the reviews on our site.
Our team checks each review posted on the site disputed by our community as not meeting our community guidelines.

The Tourist Information Centre is a must-go on your visit to Wongan Hills. Their website was telling me the centre closes at 1pm, however they kept it open until we arrived later in the afternoon, after having called them. We were advised by Greg and Alfreda, lovely couple who, like the other friendly volunteers, manage the centre. They told us about which bushwalks to go to, what local community events are happening, where to find flowers, etc... they shared their passion of the local area with us. They definitely contribute to make our stay at Wongan Hills a wonderful memory.

Visited the Centre having enjoyed a coffee at the bakery. Staff member/volunteer very helpful with advice on attractions not listed on TA, both in town and within short drives. Great range of products and souvenirs stocked, I purchased my usual magnet as a memento of Wongan Hill. Definitely the first stop for knowledge of local and lesser known tourist attractions.

Amazing center that has a lot of information at your finger tips. Tour Guides will give you all the information about where wildflowers are, what to see and much more. Well worth a stop in to find out more about the area

There were two volunteers manning the place and they were very helpful with information on the Christmas Rock Trail.

Not open, which is strange as most country towns visitors centre is open every day of the year.
Perhaps they are seasonal...... may need to look into being open on call. Fancy newish building but like a ghost town.

We found a fabulous museum attached to the visitors centre, definitely worth a visit. We spent a few hours wondering around here as well as looking around the shed full of old vehicles. The staff are very friendly and helpful. We took their advice on a lunch venue at the IGA store which was also great. Food and coffee exceptional.

We called in to the information Centre on our first days stay in Wongan Hills, but didn't seem to get much information from the lady that was there!
I realise that these people are mostly volunteers, but should be able to have basic information about the area.

We visited Wongan Hills with UK friends looking for wildflowers. Our first port of call was the Tourist Information Centre where a VERY helpful gentleman (I think his name was Robert or Richard, sorry I can't remember!). He kindly gave us 2 maps and a brochure and showed me exactly where we should go and what we should expect to find there. Our particular favourite was Christmas Rock where we saw lots of Lemon-scented Sun orchids, Common Spider Orchids and Sundews (with different coloured flowers). We also found a little clump of Ant Orchids which was an exciting first for me.
If you're looking for wildflowers, don't waste your time aimlessly looking around, just go straight to the Tourist Information Centre and get your information from the experts.
