Tripadvisor’s approach to reviews
Before posting, each Tripadvisor review goes through an automated tracking system, which collects information, answering the following questions: how, what, where and when. If the system detects something that potentially contradicts our community guidelines, the review is not published.
When the system detects a problem, a review may be automatically rejected, sent to the reviewer for validation, or manually reviewed by our team of content specialists, who work 24/7 to maintain the quality of the reviews on our site.
Our team checks each review posted on the site disputed by our community as not meeting our community guidelines.

We regularly stop at Williams on the way to Albany from Perth. The place never fails, plenty of parking, very clean bathroom facilities and great food. This time when passing both ways I got the savory muffin, each time, was quite large, very fresh, great to consume.

Called in twice this week both to and from nearbye WAGIN and we were very impressed with all about this shop/cafe. You can buy all thing Wool at the retail section and quality is tops and then you can dine in the Cafe next to it. Food was great and service good as we had Scones and am and cream just like Mum would make. Venue was very busy and variety and quality very good. Dont drive on bye,,,STOP and give it a try.

Very busy but efficient...
A bit of a catch penny but way better than anything that the servo a bit further up the road can offer....
Plenty of indoor seating & a little garden with seating outside too if you don’t mind 1,000,000,000 flies on your food 😧

We stopped off here on our way down to Albany, I had already done my research and knew this was one place we could grab a cup of coffee and a quick sandwich to fortify us for the rest of the road trip. Food was fine and service relatively quick although we got in just before the lunchtime rush when queues for the counter started forming which was lucky. What really made this place for me though was the shop adjoining it selling lots of varied local produce and crafts plus a clothing store selling some lovely Merino wool. It was excellent choice for stopping off, food and shopping!

Has been many years since I bothered to stop-off here: very pleased I did. Am guessing it has been sold to a new operator; who has really nailed the upgrades. (1) drive through coffee (2) online store (3) Tesla charging (4) quick service despite lots of people (5) great pies.
Was always a great location, just needed to be well executed

Gives you a chance to stop and stretch your legs on a long drive. Pleasant surprise when we walked in and saw the items they had for sale. Cafe was fairly large with locals and tourists enjoying the food. Something for everyone to eat and very enjoyable.

Williams is about 150kms southeast of Perth (approx. 2hr drive) and the Woolshed is located on Albany Highway, at the intersection of Richardson Street. Its a great stop to take a break and stretch your legs if you're driving down to Albany (just under halfway).
The woolshed is well set up, plenty of parking (with an electric car charger), large dining area, drive-thru coffee, and a large gift shop (focussing on the sale of Australian wool products).
It is open seven days a week between 8:00am and 4:00pm (the drive-thru between 6:30am and 2:00pm). They have a great breakfast menu (8:00am to 11:00am) with a range of sandwiches and burgers for lunch, and good selection of coffees, teas, and smoothies made to order. The food is far better than you'd get at most of the roadhouses and pubs along the route.
This is one of the most reliable places to stop and have a feed on any trip down south on the Albany Highway.

What a pleasant surprise. The food is very good for a road stop, decently priced with good service. But it is the mini shops that really make this a must stop. You will see products there that you cannot find in Perth or High Street.

I love this place. World class local products. Wool clothing grown locally and the quality is excellent.
Then there is the food! Huge range of fresh produce and GF options. Just had the best pie I’ve had in years and it was a GF! Coffee good and my wife says the Chai Latte is excellent. Make sure you stretch your legs here and support the Country.

Not knowing what to expect as we'd never been to Williams before, we were surprised to see how very busy the Woolshed was, but being a Public Holiday and start of the school hols, it should have been expected. However, our food and drinks came out pretty quickly and were big portions. In fact, we could've shared our Stockmans Burger, that came with chips. Great value for money! Staff were very friendly and the menu was extensive. Heaps of families coming in. After eating, we enjoyed having a browse through the shop, treating ourselves to a couple of things. Definitely recommend a visit!!
