We went here to get the low down on the area, great staff, with interactive displays. Loved the time line history of the area. We also booked the mine tour here, which was very informative and I found it interesting.
We called in to the visitor centre twice, the second time to view the video necessary to drive on the private Rio Tinto road parallel with the train line. The staff were just great and provided us with great recommendations for the area.
Staff friendly and helpful....more a souvenir shop than anything else. No table/charging station. Paid shower outside ($4), some flyers but I’m sure the staff could answer any questions you can’t find for yourself.
We did the mine tour which was quite interesting but we were very impressed with how helpful and friendly the staff were in the office. Well organised and efficient with some nice items in the shop. Neat and tidy toilets on hand also.
we found a very friendly lady that opened herself not only to help with excellent information about the Karijini National Park, but enhanced our understanding about life in this environment.
