Tripadvisor’s approach to reviews
Before posting, each Tripadvisor review goes through an automated tracking system, which collects information, answering the following questions: how, what, where and when. If the system detects something that potentially contradicts our community guidelines, the review is not published.
When the system detects a problem, a review may be automatically rejected, sent to the reviewer for validation, or manually reviewed by our team of content specialists, who work 24/7 to maintain the quality of the reviews on our site.
Our team checks each review posted on the site disputed by our community as not meeting our community guidelines.

Yilgarn History Museum, Southern Cross, is one of my favourite places to visit each time I am in the Yilgarn. The museum is housed within the oldest, still standing civic building east of York, Western Australia. The original Court House and Mining Registrar is where all the major gold discoveries of the eastern goldfields were registered, including Coolgardie by Bailey and the Golden Mile by Paddy Hannan.
Displays and exhibits feature a rich history of the regions mining and agricultural beginnings, as well as allowing visitors a glimpse into the lives and times of those who pioneered the area alongside more recent collections.

Since we were in Southern Cross, we decided to stop by this museum. I am so glad that we did.

The museum provides a wonderful background to the entire gold mining history of the region. There are so many interesting artifacts that show how life was at the time. My kids loved looking at the old washing machines, the court house and reading about the mystery of the vanished aerial navigator.

The museum volunteers have done a truly wonderful job.
