About
Peel Zoo is a privately funded zoo and wildlife sanctuary. Our goal is to be the best boutique zoo in Australia. We strive to achieve this by making sure everyone who visits us has a unique and personal experience. Visiting Peel Zoo is a bit like visiting one of your own family, who just happens to have hundreds of pets. Breeding animals is a key concern for us. And, in that regard, our Tasmanian Devil breeding program is of vital importance. This species is endangered in the wild because of an in incurable facial tumour disease. We hope our efforts contribute to the long term future of the Tasmanian Devil.

Worth it, just for the Sugar Glider Experience
Don't expect a big fancy modern zoo, this is rustic with a great walk through aviary, with very friendly birds. We have done a few of the animal experiences and love them. Everytime we are in the area we will do the Sugar Glider Interaction, we just love it.

Day out at ranger red zoo
We did the wombat encounter it was amazing. The guides were great and had lots of info about wombats. We also did the treetastic tour the guide was really good and had lots of facts about the animals. we got to feed the ringtail possums, sugar gliders and squirrel gliders which was amazing. We also had a look through the whole zoo which was also great and saw lots of animals it was a great day and would recommend.

We enjoyed the walk through aviary, the children enjoyed feeding kangaroos, some of the adults ,including myself ,did the squirrel glider encounter, we learned a lot about these animals. We would like to come and do another animal encounter. The children and some adults liked the snakes. It is a small zoo ,but very interesting .The staff showed care for the animals .We enjoyed meeting the animals at Ranger Red's Zoo.

All in all a great day!
We absolutely loved all of the animals, and my partner and I enjoyed the aviaries the most. I had come to take my granddaughter whom I hadn’t seen for 8 months. I booked the koala experience for her and us, for around 75$ , and she was very disappointed that all we were able to do was touch his fur. It did say that depending on weather etc, but the weather was perfect, koala was sleeping. We still enjoyed seeing him, but to charge that amount of money for an experience that probably won’t happen is a bit much.

    The Best Animal Interactions
The most incredible animal interactions I have experienced in the Perth Region. My children absolutely loved the Squirrell glider experience, it was so special to see their delighted faces when the gliders were on their shoulders licking up honey. The walk-through aviaries are wonderful with a vast array of bird species. A fantastic place to visit, with many native animals. I cannot love this experience more!!!!

The park needs a massive clean and fix up. Everything was filthy dirty, run down and average. The map we were given at the front office was not even readable, it was one big blur.

Stinks, unclean animals malnourished and very bored. One bird was missing most of its feathers. This zoo needs to be shut down.Save your money and go to the Bunbury wildlife park where you can feed kangaroos with shorter claws and the animals are in good condition.

A very scruffy place. More like a third world experience really. Most of the mangy beasts here need a bullet. It would be kinder to put them down. Overpriced, ripped signage and filthy. Tragic.

The staff are some of the nicest and most generous people I've ever met. Nothing is too much trouble and they all obviously love their work. They delight in handling the animals and teaching you how to handle them, pet them or even feed them.

Some of the picnic tables need some attention, else it would be 5 STAR!
