Tripadvisor’s approach to reviews
Before posting, each Tripadvisor review goes through an automated tracking system, which collects information, answering the following questions: how, what, where and when. If the system detects something that potentially contradicts our community guidelines, the review is not published.
When the system detects a problem, a review may be automatically rejected, sent to the reviewer for validation, or manually reviewed by our team of content specialists, who work 24/7 to maintain the quality of the reviews on our site.
Our team checks each review posted on the site disputed by our community as not meeting our community guidelines.

A beautiful park and playground in the heart of Pinjarra. The playground is well enough away from the water so there is no immediate risk for adventurous young children. The flowing river makes it a tranquil place for parents to rest as children play. Toilets are accessible and cafes are nearby to grab a cuppa to warm up on a cool day.
The suspension bridge provides a great view of the river and lovely spot for a few photos.

We started off by having lunch at the Pinjarra pub.It was so hot we walked over to the park and cooled off in the water just behind the church. The gardens were beautiful.Lots for kids to play on and just generally a lovely area to relax. On a cooler day a picnic would have been beautiful. The suspension bridge is closed off at the moment with temporary fencing so we couldnt see it but will do it next time we are down that way

We stopped at Cantwell Park in Pinjarra on our way from Bunbury to Perth. We were travelling along the South West Highway and this shady spot caught our eye. Cantwell Park is a lovely place to stop for a picnic lunch. There is lots of shady trees, picnic tables and grassed areas. There is also a great playground for the kids with a variety of equipment for different age groups. Our daughter loved playing here.

The toilets are some distance away, which is something to be aware of with young children. However, if you walk in the direction of the toilets (follow the sign) and head through the carpark, you will come across a suspension bridge which is hidden there in the bush and quite a surprise as you can't see it from the park itself. The bridge crosses the Murray River for a short distance and is fun for the kids to cross.

Cantwell Park is across the highway from the visitor centre and down the road from the shopping centre and Dome cafe so it's located in a convenient area in Pinjarra. We found it a lovely little spot to stop and stretch our legs while travelling.

This town is a great stopover on your trip heading north to Perth or south to Albany WA. Stop near the river and enjoy the quite, peaceful, tranquil river under the 🌲. Great heritage town.

Stopped here with my nephew, it's a great park for kids, so many play things for them to entertain themselves on and lots of seats for us older ones to sit relax and have a cuppa at. My nephew had a blast dragging me around to each piece of play equipment. It's definitely one of the better parks for kids I've ever come across

We went here mainly to have a look at the suspension bridge. It's not big but it was fun to have a walk across. The walk back over it gave us a lovely view of the park.

We went here to eat our lunch. Lots of picnic tables and chairs to sit on. Very peaceful sitting in the banks of the river. Large playground was popular with families. The suspension bridge was good and gave another view if the river and park. Well kept and tidy.

I love this specific area in Pinjarra. It's always on our to-do-list when we visit Pinjarra including the pie shop near by in town. The scenery is perfect as are the walks.

Well maintained facilities, plenty for the kids to do, lots of shade. Two things would be better parking and central toilets would be handy. Didn't stop us going there twice on the weekend we were there, though.

If your passing though Pinjarra this is a must rest stop. There are plenty of picnic tables and chairs, shade, playground and a suspension bridge over the river.
