Certainly an impressive sight with the identical gravestones stretching as far as the eye can see. The whole site is immaculately maintained, and it is possible to search for a specific grave if you are unsure of it's location.

A typical national cemetery that is beautiful and very well kept... Small entrance for the facility and off the beaten path for many unless your from the Salisbury area.

So very impressed with the care taken with the graves and the entire grounds. Lots of history here. Impressive that veterans from all wars since 1861 are buried here.

Beautiful cemetery for Veterans, rolling hills and meadows, very peaceful. Dates back to the Civil War. Hope to rest there someday.

It's a place of solitude. I visit when I need the experience. It's usually quiet. Watch out for geese messes!

Came from Oregon to give my respects to the step-mother of an old girlfriend. Beautiful cemetery...and then the train goes by.

Spent a summer day walking through the cemetery reading the plaques and head stones. I found it interesting that there are many union soldiers laid to rest in this southern location. My grandchildren & I took rubbings from the headstones, which opened the door to...More

This old national cemetery is nicely maintained and it is interesting to wal around reading the stones of mostly men who died in the civil war.
